Coupon Influencer Shows How Couponing Isn’t Just for Poor People4 min read

At Zara, clothing routinely sells for $70 and up, but there's a way to earn some major savings on your Sunday purchases.

...
Giaquinto posted a recent video outlining how shoppers can get 50 percent off.
First, add your item(s) to your online cart and close your browser. After that, it's all about patience.
The money-savings influencer said you must wait until 5 p.m. Sunday because that's when Zara sends a 50 percent coupon to all the online customers who did not check out.
"This Zara money hack will save you a tremendous amount of money when getting new outfits," Giaquinto said. "It's important to look good and spend very little on clothing."
Because companies often believe you were considering making a purchase on an item but didn't, they sometimes offer special savings to score profits from seemingly reluctant customers.
"Zara considers that a lost opportunity and will send you on Sundays at 5 p.m. a discount code to your email," Giaquinto said.
Other Money-Saving Hacks
If Zara isn't your fashion style of choice, there are plenty of other ways to save money.
Shopping for groceries has become increasingly expensive as inflation remains stubbornly high, but several strategies will save you extra money on your weekly bill.
First, ask your grocery store when items get discounted, and make sure to schedule your weekly shopping trip around that.
Secondly, when shopping for fruits and vegetables, opt for frozen instead of fresh. They are just as nutritious but usually marked down significantly in comparison.
You can also buy items in bulk at wholesalers like Costco. While the initial cost for bulk products may be high, it will save you in the long run as the unit price is far lower than at other stores.
Also keep in mind that grocery stores tend to put the most expensive items in the middle of aisles because they know this is where shoppers instinctively look first. By keeping your eyesight in line with the top and bottom rows, you'll likely spot better deals.
When it comes specifically to your wardrobe, you can often find discounted designer items at stores like Nordstrom Rack.
Thrift stores are also an essential spot to shop if looking for high-quality items at low prices.
Additionally, it pays off to wait for end-of-season sales. When winter ends, stock up on coats and sweaters. And at the end of summer, many summer dresses and bathing suits tend to be available for huge discounts.
