A woman hoping for a relaxing flight was left cursing her luck after the passenger behind her repeatedly pushed her seat.
On TikTok, user Amee (@ameejau) shared a video of what she called the “worst plane ride ever,” with the clip now having been viewed more than 4.4 million times.
As the video begins, Amee is seen sitting in her plane seat when it repeatedly gets pushed from behind.

The passenger in the seat behind can be seen throwing her arms up in the air before she is spotted through the gap in the seats, looking frustrated.
“I think I’m gonna die in this house,” the overlaid text reads.

As the clip quickly went viral, TikTok users filled the comments with suggestions on how they would have handled the situation.
One viewer declared, “Last thing they'd see. Absolutely not,” while another wrote, “Let me guess you DARED to recline the chair that was designed to recline.”
Several commenters urged her to involve the cabin crew rather than confronting the passenger directly.
One posted, “I’m a flight attendant. And I’m telling you to call a flight attendant for this. PLEASE.”
Meanwhile, others focused on the calm way Amee handled the moment, with one remarking, “Brooo, your patience is better than mine! I would’ve turned around in a second.”
Air Travel Etiquette
This isn't the first incident on board a crowded plane that has gone viral, and it won't be the last.
One previous Newsweek story reported on a plane passenger on a red-eye Delta flight who was left stunned when another traveler started playing videos without using headphones.
“I don’t understand how people are so inconsiderate to play videos out loud on a RED-EYE,” they wrote.
Another Newsweek story covered a viral TikTok video in which a passenger revealed how the act of reclining your seat on a flight is their “biggest pet peeve.”
The overlaid text reads, "Maybe a hot take but if you think an extra 5 percent comfort for you is worth 95 percent discomfort for the person behind you, you should not be flying long haul in economy.”
However, the passenger's opinion proved divisive, with many commenters disagreeing with the sentiment.
