A woman organized an impressive greeting for her best friend arriving off a flight and viewers on social media were touched by the huge gesture.

Megan, who uses the pseudonym Megan Million on social media and the handle meganmillion100 on TikTok, shared a video she took as her friend Morgan deboarded her plane.

In the clip, Megan stopped people as they came down the escalator and asked them if they would help welcome Morgan home.

Megan's energy was convincing—before long, she had a large group assembled, including some members of a sports team, middle-aged travelers and even the captains of Morgan's plane.

"We have this whole group of people to welcome home, they are all welcoming home my friend Morgan," Megan exclaimed in the video.

"She should be here in one minute," she told the crowd, explaining to one stranger that Morgan is "blonde and tall" as a way of identifying her.

"I'm going to just start cheering when y'all start cheering," a member of the sports team told her.

Eventually, Morgan started down the escalator and the crowd began cheering.

"Everybody she's right there," Megan yelled, "She's here!"

Morgan looked stunned by the reception and in the video, Megan started playing Charlie Puth's rendition of the National Anthem at Super Bowl LX.

"GUYS I have no idea how I pulled this off," Megan wrote in the caption of the video, which drew more than 28 million views in a week.

'Start a cult'

TikTok viewers were highly impressed by Megan's organizational ability amid almost 21,000 comments.

"You can start a cult if you wanted to," one contributor mused.

"You're literally the best example of using free will to its best potential," another remarked.

A fellow user called Megan the, "extrovert final boss."

Elsewhere in the comments section, "The confusion and excitement from the group of strangers INCLUDING PILOTS, Morgan’s horrified face, Charlie Puth National Anthem in the background, this was pure cinema," a fan posted.

Finally, one individual noted that, "two things make this so special: strangers paused their busy lives to welcome someone they didn’t even know!!! And it took real courage for Megan Million to ask…

"A beautiful reminder that people are kinder than we think! This is life!"

Finally, Charlie Puth himself weighed in to add in the comments, "Welcome home Morgan!"

More Travel Coverage

Newsweek has previously covered passengers arriving or departing the airport under unusual circumstances.

One traveler arrived at the airport 3.5 hours early for a flight, but the trek to their gate ended up taking so long, they still missed their flight.

Meanwhile, an elderly woman standing up for her boundaries drew applause from the internet for telling a man taking up her space: "Sir, put your legs together and remove your arm from touching me. Now.”

Newsweek has reached out to Megan for comment via TikTok. We could not verify the details of the case.
