The man charged with the murder of Christina Downer, the sister of Saturday Night Live writer Jimmy Fowlie, has been named in court documents as her boyfriend, Delorean Bijon Brandon.

Downer disappeared in September 2025, and Brandon later told police that she had moved out of their home, leaving behind her belongings including her car and dog.

In December 2025, Downer’s ex-husband requested a welfare check when he was unable to contact her, and investigators subsequently found her cell phone washed up on a Santa Monica Beach.

In October 2026, Brandon and 34-year-old Kaylee Markowski were arrested, and have since been charged in connection with the murder of Downer whose body has not been found.
