Each item can be upgraded into a meal with the addition of small fries and a small drink for an extra $2.49.

The new menu items can be ordered via drive-thru, in-store, online, or through the Whataburger app, but they’re only available for a limited time. Customers are advised to check with their local restaurant to make sure it's running the new Whatadeal menu.

Whataburger is also rewarding customers who open a new Whataburger app account with a free Whataburger and the chance to earn points that they can use on future purchases.

What Whataburger Is Saying

Scott Hudler, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Whataburger, said in the official press release that: “We’ve always believed that good, fresh food should be easy to enjoy and easy on the wallet. The Whatadeal menu is our way of giving fans more of what they love at prices that make it easy to come hungry and leave full.”

On social media, it posted: “Three prices. Three cravings. Zero regrets. Introducing the $3-4-5 WhataDeals.”

Whataburger has not specified an end date for the Whatadeal menu, encouraging people to take advantage of the new menu while supplies last.

Other Whataburger Initiatives

The latest menu update comes after the company recently announced its new $600,000 scholarship program, where it’s partnering with Dr Pepper to offer students—who attend either a college, university, or not-for-profit vocational school—funding to help them get access to the education they need. In its press release, Whataburger said 120 students will receive a $5,000 scholarship, which can be used for tuition, books, or other educational costs.

Allie Watters, Whataburger community relations senior manager, said: “At Whataburger, we believe no student should have to put their potential on hold because of financial challenges. These scholarships are one way we’re cheering students on as they work toward the futures they’ve dreamed of.”
