A woman in Florida was shocked to discover two luxury designer wallets at a thrift store for less than $10 combined.

The moment was captured in a TikTok video shared by Mo (@taylorco04). The clip garnered more than 93,000 views since it was posted on December 13.

According to the location tag on the post, the video was captured in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. The caption accompanying the clip reads: “Thrifted Fendi and Louis Vuitton on the same day.”

In the video, Mo is seen shuffling through a shelf filled with wallets at a thrift store when she comes across two unexpected finds—a vintage wallet from Fendi sitting right next to a Louis Vuitton wallet. She is heard expressing disbelief at what she has found, as she reveals the first discovery in the clip.

“Does it get any better than this? I literally don’t know,” she says in the video. “Look at what I found at the thrift—this vintage Fendi wallet…it was in such good condition.”

The clip moves on to showcase her second luxury find. “Also found this Murakami little Mini Agenda by Louis Vuitton,” she continues. “I cannot believe it; I was literally in shock.”

Close-up shots in the video show the wallets in detail, including their logos and interior branding. The price tags are also visible. The Fendi wallet is marked at $5.99, while the Louis Vuitton wallet is priced at $2.99, bringing the total cost of both items to just $8.98.

Later in the video, Mo includes screenshots from various resale websites to show how much similar items are being sold for online.

According to those screenshots, comparable vintage Fendi wallets appear to be listed for prices ranging from $250 to $350 on resale platforms such as eBay and Poshmark. The Louis Vuitton Murakami Mini Agenda wallet she found appears to be available for $750 on those same platforms.

According to the Louis Vuitton website, current compact wallets from the brand range in price from $435 to $1,335. Meanwhile, the latest wallets available on the Fendi website are priced between $600 and $1,000.

The contrast between the thrift store prices and online resale values highlights the continued demand for luxury items on the second-hand market.

Mo’s find comes as second-hand shopping continues to grow in popularity across the U.S. A 2025 report by Capital One Shopping found that 93 percent of Americans shop online for second-hand items. The report also noted that there are more than 25,000 resale, consignment, and not-for-profit resale shops operating across the country.

Thrifting is not only popular but also financially impactful for many shoppers. According to the Capital One report, thrifters save an average of $2,071 per year by purchasing second-hand items rather than buying new.

As of 2025, the U.S. second-hand market is estimated to be worth $56 billion, with projections suggesting it could grow to $61 billion in 2026, the report found.
