Taylor Swift skipped the Emmy Awards to attend Travis Kelce's football game, but she pre-recorded a message to fans in which she shared a cryptic message.

During a Law & Order: SVU skit, Swift looked right into the camera and said that what the detectives were looking for was hiding in plain sight. Then said, "saccharide, aries, from the vineyard, north or south."

Swift is known for doing things with intention and giving her fans clues of her moves ahead of official announcements. Swifties quickly latched onto the phrasing, convinced it was a hidden message about her future plans.

Newsweek confirmed the saying has a hidden meaning, though we still haven't decoded it.

What Does 'Saccharide, Aries, From the Vineyard, North or South' Mean?

It's unclear what Swift's message means, and so far neither Swifties nor I have decoded the message to figure out exactly what she means. If you arrange the words to put them in single lines and then scramble the first letters of each line, it spells out "FANS." But, that's not much of a clue about anything.

If you're wondering, we also asked our AI system to see if it could decode the message, and Swift has outsmarted the robots.

So, let's break down each part of the phrase to see if we can find some clues.

What Does Saccharide Mean?

A saccharide is a monosaccharide sugar or combination of sugars, according to the dictionary. So, it could symbolize something sweet. It can also be used to refer to carbohydrates, which are something you digest. Maybe she means there's new music coming that you'll need to digest? Or perhaps Swift is opening up a pizza place. A saccharide is also ring shaped, indicating that it could be about her wedding over the summer.

Some fans noted that Swift has a 2003 demo called "Sugar" and saccharide is another name for sugar, so fans could be getting music from the vault.

What Does Aries Mean?

Of course, Aries is an astrological sign, which spans from March 21 to April 19. So, it could be a hint about when something new is coming. But it's also known for being symbolic of new beginnings. Could this be an album related to her recent marriage to Kelce?

What Does From the Vineyard Mean?

I'm going to be honest, this one could be interpreted a lot of different ways. One way to look at it is from an actual vineyard. There's Martha's Vineyard and a bunch of vineyards in California. Or maybe Swift has decided to come out with a new wine line. Or maybe it's symbolic of growth and cycles of life since vineyards go through various stages with the seasons.

It's also possible that "from the vineyard" is referring to Swift's older music, giving credence to the fan theory that the announcement has to do with a release from her vault. Vineyard being symbolic of a house and with vineyards having lots of different wines from different years, the way Swift has lots of music from different years of her life.

What Does North or South Mean?

North or South, taken literally, could be up or down or used as a direction. But when is Swift ever literal? Maybe instead of direction it has to do with choice or deciding between two different paths. One fan also pointed out that north or south are latitude points and Swift could be referencing that she has the ability to release music whenever she wants, since she now owns her catalog.

Now, one thing to consider is that before giving the seemingly nonsensical eight-word phrase, Swift said, "I think what we’re looking for is hiding in plain sight." Which could also be a clue. It's also possible that something Mariska Hargitay said during the skit is a clue as well. Once Swift stops talking, Hargitay says, "the answer has been tv this whole time."

So, with all the clues taken together, is it possible fans are going to get Debut Taylor's Version (TV) in the spring?
