WWE is keeping kayfabe alive through the actions of Naomi, who took the extra mile to make a recent storyline attack even more realistic.
WWE's decision to pull Trinity Fatu (Naomi) from media appearances promoting "Queen of the Ring" was initially intended to sell Jade Cargill's brutal attack at Elimination Chamber. "There are wolves in the shape of women all around me. I can see the way they look into my eyes. I am not them, and they are not me. And I weathered every storm that was meant to break me. Losing my mother while being a mother, carrying the weight of it all while still thriving. You don't have to like me, but you will respect me. I'm here because I've earned it. Every scar, every loss, every step. I will not shrink myself for anyone.

However, Naomi showed up on Tuesday night, attending the NYC premiere with Jimmy Uso. As seen below, she was sporting a neck brace to reinforce the ongoing storyline.
Naomi plays a supporting role as legendary wrestler Ethel Johnson in the film 'Queen of the Ring,' which tells the story of Mildred Burke. The film releases on March 7th.
