It appears Jey Uso will not be "Yeeting" at the "Elimination Chamber 2026" event. Ahead of Friday's episode of "SmackDown," WWE's official X account posted a news update of a storyline injury backstage before airtime. At the time, the superstar who was ambushed wasn't known, but it didn't take long for the reveal.

Uso was the one who was laid out prior to the start of the blue brand. This opens the door for a surprise name, such as Brock Lesnar, to potentially take the former Bloodline member's spot in the men's chamber match on Saturday.

Jey Uso's Injury Angle Was Widely Expected

When Uso won a triple threat match on "Monday Night Raw" to qualify for "Elimination Chamber 2026," fans immediately suspected something was off. Uso took on Bronson Reed of The Vision and El Grande Americano. Reed legitimately tore his bicep when attempting to break up a pin, and he was forced to leave the match and seek medical attention.

Uso ended up scoring the win, but fans weren't sold on him being the planned winner. That hunch proved to be correct, as Reed was reportedly scheduled to win the match and represent The Vision in the men's chamber match. Since Uso wasn't originally part of the plan, WWE set up the injury angle to explain his absence in Saturday's show.

Lesnar has been widely speculated to be featured in the steel structure for WWE's upcoming PLE. He is loosely affiliated with The Vision due to his relationship with Paul Heyman, which would make him a prime candidate to be Reed's true replacement.
