A top WWE star who happens to be a professional wrestling icon has confirmed his presence at the "Royal Rumble 2026" PLE. The annual kickoff for the Road to "WrestleMania" will be taking place in Riyadh on Jan. 31. One future WWE Hall of Famer who will attend the event is Randy Orton.

In a new video posted on Turki Alalshikh's TikTok account, Orton said fans can expect him at the upcoming "Royal Rumble" show.

"I am at The Groves, and I just wanted to remind everybody that tickets are still on sale for the Royal Rumble coming here to Riyadh at the end of January," Orton said. "Tickets are still on sale for SmackDown too. So, make sure you get your tickets, and I will see you at the Royal Rumble."

Orton also mentioned possibly appearing at the go-home edition of "Friday Night SmackDown" just one night before "Royal Rumble 2026."

Randy Orton's WWE TV Absence

Orton hasn't been seen on WWE TV since the Oct. 3 episode of "SmackDown." He teamed with Cody Rhodes to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Orton was written off TV when Reed attacked him post-match, while Breakker forced Rhodes to watch.

It isn't unusual for the 45-year-old Orton to take extended breaks each year. "The Viper" has long reached legendary status, and with other big names such as John Cena and AJ Styles nearing retirement, fans are simply grateful that Orton is sticking around for the foreseeable future.

Whether or not Orton will be a participant in the men's Royal Rumble match remains to be seen, but it certainly wouldn't be his first time performing in the over-the-top-rope spectacle.
