The Best Advice From Vince McMahon

Reigns revealed that the best advice he received from Vince McMahon was about the importance of being present in his personal life, especially when he was home with his family.

"He would always tell me, this is when I was so locked in on work that I wasn't holding up my end of the other side. He would tell me, 'You gotta be present. When you go home, you have to be present. It doesn't matter what you do out here,'" Reigns said.

He continued, explaining how that advice has evolved in his own life. "Now, it's hard not to be present when I'm not home, when I'm not with my children. That's where I really want to be, with my wife and children."

Roman Reigns' Perspective

Roman Reigns' relationship with Vince McMahon was a unique one. While he was the undisputed top star of the company for years, Reigns noted that he did not have the same amount of personal time with McMahon that other top stars of previous eras did. Despite this, the lessons he did learn were impactful.

He also shared a key business lesson from the former Chairman. "He'd always say, 'You want to be ahead of the curve, but not too far ahead. Slight ahead of the curve.' That saying was one of the biggest business lessons," Reigns stated.
