Roman Reigns is expected to make his highly anticipated return to WWE television at the upcoming "Royal Rumble" event on January 31. However, current reports suggest the "Tribal Chief" may not be immediately thrust back into the top title scene upon his arrival.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reigns is currently not factored into the immediate plans for the WWE Championship. Meltzer noted that Reigns appears to be the "odd man out" regarding the title picture heading into "WrestleMania 42."
