Goldberg is not hiding how he feels about the way WWE handled his retirement sendoff. During a recent fan meet-and-greet, a fan brought up the moment WWE cut off Goldberg's microphone while he was delivering his farewell speech after his retirement match. The exchange quickly escalated, with Goldberg making clear he has not moved on from the slight.

"You know what pissed me off? When WWE cut off your mic at your final match," the fan said.

Goldberg responded with open sarcasm and frustration. "Yeah! What do you think it did for me? It made me really happy. It shows what disrespect they have for me," he said.

The conversation then shifted toward who may have been responsible for the decision. When the fan asked directly whether Triple H was behind it, Goldberg's one-word response said everything.

"What jackass was it? Was it Triple H who did that?" the fan asked.

"Probably," Goldberg replied.

When the fan followed up by calling Triple H "a jackass," Goldberg did not hesitate to back the sentiment. "100%," he said.

Goldberg retired from in-ring competition after losing to GUNTHER, who had been building a streak of ending the careers of WWE legends. GUNTHER had previously retired John Cena and AJ Styles during his run as WWE's Career Killer. The mic cut during Goldberg's post-match farewell speech drew immediate attention at the time, with many fans and observers noting it as an unusual way to close out a Hall of Famer's final night.

The comments suggest the relationship between Goldberg and WWE management is strained, making any future goodwill ambassador role or appearance for the Hall of Famer uncertain. Goldberg has historically been one of wrestling's most recognizable stars, with a career that spanned WCW and multiple WWE runs including his famous undefeated streak and his victories over established names like Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker.
