With WrestleMania 42 spanning several days in Las Vegas, Nevada, it meant fans and performers saw each other at various locations, including hotels.
That led to more than a few encounters in which performers felt the fans were overcrowding or acting a bit unnecessarily to get autographs or selfies with the talent. In one headline-making example, CM Punk smacked a fan's phone out of their hands after the fan tried to take a photo of his wife, AJ Lee, at a hotel.
In other moments on video, Royce Keys tells a fan to let him enjoy his time rather than bug him, and in another, a crowd of people follows Randy Orton around a hotel. The above encounters led some WWE stars, including Drew McIntyre, to speak out about the fan behavior.

"For those fans who spent hard earned money on a chance to say hello, take a photo, having something signed, or give me one of my many, many bracelets, I appreciate each and every single one of you," he said.
"To those who rushed my family and I in the hotel, kept your kids up till 2 am throwing them in front of us, or shoved a camera in my face without asking, you’re lucky I’m a calm natured person outside the ring. Please don’t do that ever again," Drew wrote in his X message.
Along with his message, he shared sped-up video footage highlighting all the photos he took with fans and the items he signed for them during the WWE World at WrestleMania event in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
WWE World is a five-day event presented by Fanatics for fans, allowing them to meet various stars. The event featured a variety of current and former talent, including TNA, AAA, and WWE stars.
Costs varied to get a photo or an autograph. According to website details, an autograph from McIntyre was $107.91, while a photo with him was $113.36.
McIntyre, who has played a heel role in WWE for a while now, also participated in a match with Jacob Fatu, which he lost during WrestleMania 42 weekend.
Despite his villainous tough-guy persona, he's definitely considered friendly and personable, like many of the other stars who enjoy meeting fans during the assigned times, rather than having chaotic incidents at hotels.
