Knox joined the Warriors towards the end of the 2024-25 season. First, he signed with their G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, signing a 10-day contract.
In 12 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors, he averaged 25.3 points per game, 8.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.8 steals while shooting 52.7 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from three in 33.8 minutes of action.

Knox played in 14 games for the Warriors, where he averaged 3.3 points per game, 1.2 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.3 blocks while shooting 50 percent from the field and 26.7 percent from three in six minutes of action.
He was an unrestricted free agent for the entire offseason, with what seemed like no hope for the former lottery pick. However, the Bulls decided to take a chance on the 26-year-old from Arizona.
Knox will now head back to the Eastern Conference, where he has played most of his career. The New York Knicks drafted Knox with the No. 9 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He spent his first three-plus seasons in the Big Apple.
He started off his rookie season well, averaging 12.8 points per game in 75 games played. However, he struggled mightily to find his groove after his rookie season and was traded to the Atlanta Hawks prior to the 2022 NBA trade deadline.
Knox was traded to the Hawks in exchange for Cam Reddish, Solomon Hill, a 2025 second-round pick and cash considerations.
Knox will now join his sixth team in his career. His role with the Bulls is unclear, as his position in the depth chart may be low, considering Isaac Okoro, Matas Buzelis and Ayo Dosunmu are all ahead of him.
