Speaking of Neymar, Brazil announced earlier this week that he has made "good progress" from his grade 2 calf strain. Neymar, the national team's all-time leading scorer, hasn't appeared in a Brazil uniform since tearing his ACL in October 2023.

Brazil will compete in Group C and open its 2026 FIFA World Cup run against Morocco at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Saturday.
