The McLaren F1 Team has announced a new partnership with Secretlab for the 2025 season.

This new collaboration sees the introduction of the Secretlab TITAN Evo McLaren Edition gaming chair, which is set to combine Secretlab's innovative design with elements from McLaren's storied history.

Although Secretlab is no stranger to the world of Formula 1, currently working with Red Bull Racing, this partnership further solidifies their presence in motorsport.

Secretlab has long been recognized for its performance seating. The brand has worked with high-profile partners such as Red Bull Racing and Automobili Lamborghini.

Their latest partnership with McLaren shows Secretlab's knack for merging stylish design with the rigorous demands of the racing world. One feature that stands out in this new chair is the use of Papaya accents, which pay homage to McLaren's iconic color scheme.

The backrest is adorned with a pattern of hexagonal grilles, a nod to McLaren's road car designs, while carbon fiber leatherette is incorporated to reflect the use of materials that McLaren pioneered with the 1981 MP4/1 Formula 1 car.

Additionally, the chair features Secretlab's proprietary 4-way L-ADAPT™ Lumbar Support System, allowing users to adjust the lumbar support to their preference. It also incorporates the Secretlab Lumbar Pillow Pro McLaren Edition, with its PlushCell™ memory foam.

This comes after McLaren secured the Constructors' Championship in 2024 since 1998. The Woking-based squad is eager to continue with its strong performance into 2025. Lando Norris has opened up on how the team is preparing for the upcoming season, stating:

"I think one thing we've realised as a team is now we're there [at the front] we want to make it easy for ourselves.

"We want to keep going so that we can win easily these races and not have them as difficult as they were last year.

"So the team have remained very focussed. It was easy for all of them to get back and just go 'we're good, we've done it now, let's just relax'.

"They've done the opposite. They've gone 'we want even more' and they've worked even harder to try and find new things for this year.

"So I think they've turned these expectations into positive things, into more motivation and more drive to want it again."

He added:

"For myself, as much as I want to win the Constructors every single year, I also want that selfish one, to win the Drivers' Championship.

"You need a good team behind you and I think that's exactly what I've got.

"I came close-ish last year. I was still always a bit far behind, but I could smell it. I had that feeling of like, 'okay, this is kind of what it's like'.

"It [the title in 2024] was within reach. This year I need to fix a few things, work on some things and come back stronger and that's what I'm ready to do."
