The wide receiver market has been hot over the last few months.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba signed a record four-year, $168.6 million deal after winning a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks. Drake London received a four-year, $141 million extension with the Atlanta Falcons at the beginning of June, and Chris Olave got a new four-year, $132 million deal just last week.

Now, another young receiver has gotten paid: Baltimore Ravens star wideout Zay Flowers.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Flowers and the Ravens have agreed to a four-year, $140 million deal with $108 million guaranteed. That's the fourth-most guaranteed money of any receiver in the NFL, and more than both London ($100 million) and Olave ($90 million) received. His $35 million average annual salary also ties him with the Minnesota Vikings' Justin Jefferson for the fourth-highest mark in the league.

After just three seasons in the league, Flowers has officially become one of the highest-paid players in football.

Flowers is coming off a career year with the Ravens. In 2025, he hauled in 1,211 yards (seventh-most in the NFL) and five touchdowns on 86 receptions, averaging 14.1 yards per catch. He's developed a strong rapport with Lamar Jackson and, alongside Derrick Henry, is the backbone of the Ravens' offense.

Since being drafted in 2023, Flowers has racked up 3,128 total receiving yards, the 10th-most at the position — and he's still just 25 years old. He's also missed just a single game in three seasons, and durability is one of the greatest assets in today's game.

The Ravens brought in more depth at receiver this season, including rookies Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt, but this passing game runs through Flowers. And with Jackson now healthy and fighting for a new contract himself in 2026, this season could be even bigger for the young wideout.
