Justin Jefferson earned a touchdown reception on Sunday, but the Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver was frustrated by the end of Sunday's 19-15 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Jefferson caught five passes for 33 yards and one touchdown on nine total targets. Entering Sunday's game, Jefferson recorded 23 receptions for 302 yards and three touchdowns. Jefferson appeared noticeably frustrated on the sideline during the game.

Following the game, Jefferson chose not to speak to reporters. Per the NFL's policy, all players must be available to speak with the media (as a requirement in their contracts) after games unless they are in the concussion protocol. Players who choose not to speak to the media are subject to a fine.

During his postgame news conference, Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said the offense needs to find ways to get Jefferson the ball.

We had some opportunities for [Jefferson], and there were some chances there," O'Connell said, via ESPN. "But we've got to find a way to get him the ball, especially on potential chances for him on some of those sequences where we're looking to kick off some momentum.

"He's a great guy to do it behind, and we'll continue to find ways to get him the football. But it was a division game. These guys want to win. I don't fault the frustration or the competitiveness in any way, shape or form."

Jordan Addison led the Vikings in receiving with 66 yards on three receptions and eight targets. Quarterback Kyler Murray went 17 of 29 passing for 210 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

Jefferson's best game of the season came in the Vikings' opener when he caught eight passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota's 39-22 win over the Green Bay Packers. He has not had a 100+ yard receiving game this season, which is abnormal for the four-time All-Pro.
