The Las Vegas Raiders are just one of several NFL teams currently searching for their next head coach after parting ways with Pete Carroll following just one season with the organization.
Playing a key role in the Raiders’ pursuit of a new HC is minority owner and NFL legend Tom Brady, who has made it clear that he believes the team will soon be moving in the right direction.
“I think every team right now is going through their own process to try to figure out what best suits them,” Brady told the AP. “We want to deliver a winner in Las Vegas. The fan base deserves it, and it’s been a long time. So, there’s a lot of pieces of the puzzle you’ve got to get right, but I’m certainly very excited that we’re going to get things going in the right direction.”

After conducting a handful of interviews, the Raiders made a unique request for a few of the candidates scheduled to interview on Monday: they asked them to fly to Miami and meet at the College Football Playoff National Championship game between Miami and Indiana, where Brady will be in attendance, according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini.
One of the biggest interviews for the Raiders on Monday will be former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, who is considered a top candidate this offseason after parting ways with Miami.
Las Vegas has already conducted interviews with several other high-profile candidates, including Kevin Stefanski—who appears to be emerging as a frontrunner for the Atlanta Falcons job—Jesse Minter, Jeff Hafley, Klint Kubiak, Mike LaFleur, Joe Brady, Vance Joseph, and a handful of others ranging from former head coaches to offensive and defensive coordinators.
