The veteran quarterback moved past former Pittsburgh star Ben Roethlisberger into third place on the NFL’s career playoff passing yards list during the Steelers’ wild card matchup with the Houston Texans.

Rodgers entered the game needing 79 yards to surpass Roethlisberger and reached the mark with four minutes left in the second quarter with a 4-yard completion on fourth-and-two.

Only Tom Brady (13,400 passing yards) and Peyton Manning (7,339 passing yards) now sit ahead of Rodgers on the all-time list, further cementing his place among the most prolific postseason passers in league history.

Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, has built a reputation on playoff poise, owning one of the best touchdown-to-interception ratios in postseason history. Monday’s milestone was another entry in a career defined by precision, patience and big-game moments.

Rodgers completed 17-of-33 passes for 146 yards and an interception as the Steelers lost 30–6 to the Texans in the wild-card round Monday night. Rodgers, who now has 6,040 postseason career passing yards, said he will take time this offseason to decide whether to return for another season.

Houston travels to Foxborough on Sunday to face the New England Patriots.
