Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle exited Sunday's Week 7 win over the Arizona Cardinals with a chest injury he sustained in the fourth quarter.
The injury occurred on a botched reverse exchange from quarterback Bo Nix. Waddle dove to recover the loose ball and Cardinals edge rusher Josh Sweat landed on him with some serious force.
Waddle walked off the field holding his left shoulder/chest area, going into the blue medical tent. He was listed as questionable to return, but did not as the Broncos went on to secure a 30-16 final score on the road.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton publicly apologized for the "awful" play call when wrapping up his postgame press conference.
"Why didn't anyone ask me about the dumb reverse call? It was awful. Alright, I'm sorry," Payton said.
Waddle was limited for two practice sessions last week with a chest issue. Payton did not provide details regarding the severity of his wide receiver's injury, but this week's practice report should shed some light on his status for Week 8.

The Broncos, now 5-2 on the season, are preparing for a highly-anticipated Week 8 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs this coming Sunday.
