The New Orleans Saints may end up playing this weekend without the services of star wide receiver Chris Olave. Olave suffered a hamstring injury during practice on Friday and his status for Week 4 is uncertain at this time.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter noted that Olave is considered "day-to-day" at this time with the injury.

If Olave can't go against the Atlanta Falcons, it would be a massive loss for the Saints. Olave has emerged as one of the better young pass-catchers around the NFL so his absence would be heavily missed.
Through three games this season, Olave has caught 12 passes for 178 yards and one touchdown. He has been a favorite target of quarterback Derek Carr so if he can't suit up, others on the Saints would need to step up.
The emphasis would shift to the running game if Olave does have to miss this game. Running back Alvin Kamara has been great for the Saints so far this season and he has shown throughout his career that he is more than capable of shouldering an offensive attack.
New Orleans will be playing in Atlanta for this game and the Falcons defense has improved this season, especially in the secondary. The hope is that Olave can shake off this injury and play in this one but hamstring injury can be tricky.
The last thing New Orleans wants to do is have this issue linger throughout the season or get any worse if he does play. With him suffering this injury just a couple of days before kickoff, he likely won't suit up unless it was just a minor tweak.

The Saints have been one of the better surprises this season so far, showing dominance on the field. Their offense has been electric to watch and Olave has been a huge part of that.
It could be tough to take down the Falcons without Olave so the hope is that he can return to the field. Playing a divisional game this early in the season can have large implications on how things turn out seeding-wise so each side will be looking to take advantage.
Atlanta will be getting two critical pieces back into their equation this weekend so New Orleans could be in some trouble. We should know more about the status of Olave over the next day before kickoff on Sunday.
