New Orleans Saints first-round rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson finally made his return to practice this week after spending the first eight weeks of the season on injured reserve with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain. It turns out there is a very real chance he makes his NFL debut against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, too.

According to Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland, the Saints are officially listing Tyson as questionable after being a limited participant for the past three days.

NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier this week that Tyson's return is imminent and could come as early as this week, so only time will tell if the rookie has made enough strides to make his much-anticipated return.

Tyson could provide a much-needed boost for the Saints, who currently sit in last place in the NFC South with a 2-5 record.

The division is still well within reach as the Carolina Panthers are in first place with 3-4 records, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons are at second and third position, respectively, with 3-5 records..

The Saints selected Tyson with the No. 8 overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft out of Arizona State, where he recorded 136 catches for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns from 2024-25.

Tyson also played college football at Colorado in 2022, when he had 22 catches for 470 yards and four touchdowns.
