Former NFL and Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Robert Griffin III has been watching the moves being made in the league over the past day, as the legal tampering period for free agency began.
With that, teams can reach agreements with players, but they can't officially sign any deals until Wednesday, when the league's calendar year officially begins.
And that means there were a slew of agreements as teams look to improve their rosters by addressing any deficiencies. In particular, teams that weren't anywhere near the playoffs are looking to build toward some future success.

One very active team was the Las Vegas Raiders, and that makes a lot of sense. In next month's draft, they're planning on selecting a potential franchise-altering quarterback who can lead them to the Super Bowl with Indiana's Fernando Mendoza.

It appears the team wants to have the right roster pieces in place before making that pick, and based on early indications, they're upgrading significantly for the future.
RG3, now a podcaster and football analyst, seems to like what he's seeing, as he had a strong reaction to what the Raiders are doing, including minority owner Tom Brady.
"Tom Brady and the @Raiders are doing a masterful job of giving Fernando Mendoza a team he can grow and win with," RG3 wrote regarding Las Vegas and Mendoza's situation.
The team has added a Pro Bowl center, Tyler Lindenbaum, to help protect their star quarterback. In addition, they added the talents of wide receiver Jalen Nailor as a target on the field.
Additionally, the team looked to give their defense a boost by getting Kwity Paye and Malcolm Koonce at defensive end, and Eric Stokes and Taron Johnson at defensive back.
Griffin recognizes the need for a strong group of players around him. His NFL career spanned from 2012 to 2020, with most of his time spent with the Washington Commanders and the Baltimore Ravens. He won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award and made the Pro Bowl in his rookie season for Washington.
It's unclear what sort of playing situation last year's Heisman Trophy winner, Mendoza, will get when the season unfolds in Las Vegas, but the front office is clearly doing its all to ensure his future success.
