The Baltimore Ravens have some serious issues at the quarterback position following Sunday's Week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
On his first play back after missing each of the Ravens' last three games with an ankle injury, superstar signal caller Lamar Jackson suffered a thumb injury that ultimately landed him on injured reserve. After coming in to replace Jackson, backup QB Tyler Huntley suffered a turf toe injury that held him off the field for the remainder of the game.
Undrafted rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano entered the game as the Ravens' emergency third-string option, completing just 10 of his 21 pass attempts for 91 yards and an interception in the 36-10 loss to Buffalo.

Fagnano sustained an ankle injury of his own during his first NFL action. However, he was able to practice with a brace on Tuesday.
When speaking to reporters after Tuesday's practice, head coach Jesse Minter officially announced Fagnano as the team's starting quarterback for Thursday night's primetime Week 9 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fagnano will be backed up by Kedon Slovis and Austin Reed, both of whom joined the team following Sunday's injuries for Jackson and Huntley.
