Lamar Jackson missed each of the Baltimore Ravens' last two games since suffering an ankle injury in Week 4.

Jackson was unable to take the field for any practice activity leading up to Week 5's win over the Atlanta Falcons. And as the Ravens geared up for this past Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns, he was once again absent from each practice session.

On Monday, Ravens head coach Jesse Minter was asked about Jackson's injury status. He said the superstar quarterback is now "day-to-day" with his injury and could "potentially" take the field for practice on Wednesday.

"Potentially, but we'll see how it goes," Minter replied.

When asked if Jackson's ankle has improved over the last two weeks, Minter replied with a brief "yes."

With Sunday's loss to the Browns, the Ravens dropped to 4-2 on the season — joining Cleveland and Pittsburgh in a three-way tie at the top of the AFC North. This coming Sunday, they'll face off against the 3-2 Cincinnati Bengals in yet another division-rival contest.

Tyler Huntley has been serviceable as the Raven's replacement quarterback, but the team is no doubt ready to get Jackson back on the field as soon as possible.
