Hamstring injuries can be tricky, and they can often lead to multiple weeks off due to the severity of the injury. While Gonzalez may have been able to return to the field in Weeks 4 and 5, he may be dealing with a lingering issue that could hold him out for more games.

Through Weeks 4 and 5, he secured nine total tackles and one pass defended. In that limited time, he also posted a 50.0 completion percentage and 78.6 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks.

Gonzalez is very much a lockdown corner, but his health is the biggest issue holding him back. Being limited does not mean that he will miss Week 6, but if his status changes further, then he might miss his fourth game of the season.

The Patriots are set to face the New Orleans Saints next, which is an easier matchup on paper. However, Spencer Rattler can still sling the ball. Having Gonzalez on the field will make it easier to stop the Saints' chances of putting together big plays.
