Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is one touchdown pass away from 100 for his career, and he wants the receiver who catches it to save the football.

“We’ll definitely make sure the guys don’t throw it in the stands and we get it back,” Love said after Wednesday’s practice.

Love enters Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots with 99 career regular-season touchdown passes. Reaching 100 in his 57th start would place him between Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre in how quickly they reached that total.

Rodgers reached 100 in his 52nd regular-season start, while Favre did it in his 58th. Love knows what that comparison means, though his attention remains on getting Green Bay another win.

“The main goal is to win the game. However you get that done, you get that done,” Love said. “I’m definitely excited to get that 100th touchdown pass and who’ll it go to. So, that’ll be cool.”

The opportunity comes after Love threw three touchdowns in Green Bay’s 27-19 win over the Carolina Panthers. He completed 30 of 41 passes for 288 yards with one interception, helping the Packers improve to 5-3.

That performance brought his season totals to 2,246 passing yards and 16 touchdowns through eight games. He has thrown at least two touchdown passes in seven of those games, with the lone exception coming in a win over Dallas.

Love has built most of his career total since taking over as Green Bay’s starter in 2023. He threw 32 touchdowns that season, followed by 25 in 2024 and 23 in 2025. Three more came during his first two seasons of game action.

The Packers enter the New England matchup averaging 60.6 rushing yards per game, the lowest figure in the NFL.

His next opportunity comes at Gillette Stadium, where the Packers will try to secure their sixth win against a Patriots team that has won four of its past five games.
