Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden did not participate in practice on Monday or Tuesday as the team prepared for its Week 8 "Thursday Night Football" clash against the Carolina Panthers.

He did however take the field for limited participation in Wednesday's session, and was officially listed as questionable while dealing with foot and shoulder injuries.

On Thursday morning, a report from NFL on Prime journalist James Palmer indicated that Golden is trending in the right direction to play against the Panthers.

"Packers WR Matthew Golden (shoulder/foot) is listed as QUESTIONABLE for tonight against the Panthers. there is a lot of optimism he's good to go, Green Bay is expecting him to play I'm told. No surprise to Carolina, who has been preparing on the short week for Golden to go," Palmer reported.
