The Green Bay Packers could be without one of their leading wide receiver weapons as they take the field for Thursday night's primetime clash against the Carolina Panthers.

For the second practice session in a row, Matthew Golden was listed as a non participant with shoulder and foot injuries on Tuesday.

Golden has been integral to the Packers' pass-heavy offense so far this season, leading the team with 69 targets. The second-year wide receiver is in the midst of a breakout campaign, reeling in 36 catches for 540 yards and three touchdowns.

Golden suffered a shoulder injury during this past Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Detroit Lions. However, he was able to return to the field to finish out that game.

If Golden is ruled out, quarterback Jordan Love and the Packers will need to lean more heavily on lead wide receiver target Christian Watson. Tight end Tucker Kraft and second-year WR Savion Williams could also see an increase in usage.

The Packers, now 4-3 on the season, are hoping to bounce back from Week 7's disappointing loss to the Lions.
