The official start of the 2025 NFL season is just days away, and the field seems to be a bit wide open as far as who will win Super Bowl LX.

Some are predicting a rematch of last season's big game, when the Philadelphia Eagles trounced the defending world champion Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. Others seem to be counting out the Chiefs for one season or another.

Fox Sports 1 personality Nick Wright, a noted Chiefs fan, gave his own prognostication for this winter's Super Bowl. He picked Patrick Mahomes and crew to get there, but his pick to represent the NFC sounds like a surprising one: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He feels Kansas City will then reclaim its spot on top of the football world.

"Chiefs over Bucs in the Super Bowl -- Super Bowl 60," Wright said on First Things First. "... That is my official Super Bowl prediction. So, my official bracket, Chiefs over Bills in the AFC Championship Game, Bucs over Rams in the NFC Championship Game, and then Chiefs over Bucs in Super Bowl 60."

Wright also picked Patrick Mahomes to win his third league MVP award and his first since the 2022 campaign.

It isn't exactly a stretch to imagine the Chiefs getting to the Super Bowl for the fifth time in seven seasons. Mahomes is still considered the best overall quarterback in the NFL, even though his numbers have dipped over the last two years, and their defense remains strong.

They will have to go to war without Rashee Rice, who is arguably their best wide receiver, for the first six weeks of the regular season. But speedster WR Xavier Worthy could be poised to improve on what he did last year, and their running back room looks deep now that Clyde Edwards-Helaire is back on their practice squad.

But Tampa Bay is a serious sleeper in the NFC. Virtually no one is picking it to win the NFC, but it had a solid offseason by keeping veteran wide receiver Chris Godwin and veteran linebacker Lavonte David on new contracts and adding pass rusher Haason Reddick.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield has become his best self, and starting running back Bucky Irving is coming off a rookie campaign last year in which he ran for 1,122 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 5.4 yards per rushing attempt.

The Chiefs and Buccaneers met in the Super Bowl during the 2020 season, with Tom Brady's Bucs demolishing Mahomes' crew. Don't be surprised if this current group from Tampa Bay makes a deep playoff run this winter.
