Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is done for the season after doctors found multiple blood clots in his lungs.

Eagles medical staff initially discovered a superficial blood clot on Hurts' calf before the team's Week 5 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. He was allowed to play in that game, but was ultimately ruled out moving forward after doctors discovered "movement" with the clot.

This scary medical news for Hurts prompted messages from prominent figures around the football world, including his former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban.
