The NFL's trade deadline is just a few days away and trade chatter is heating up with many players potentially on the move. NFL insider Tom Pelissero believes there are three wide receivers, in particular, that could have new homes in the NFL very soon.
"It’s a good bet multiple receivers will be traded by Tuesday’s deadline, with Brian Thomas Jr., Josh Downs and Calvin Ridley among names to watch," Pelissero wrote.

Thomas, a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, bursted onto the scene as a rookie, recording 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns.
However, after a disappointing 2025 campaign and start to his 2026 season, Thomas seems to have lost the confidence of the Jacksonville Jaguars coaching staff while several other wide receivers, like Parker Washington, have emerged as legitimate threats.
The Jaguars are reportedly looking for a first-round pick in return, but it remains to be seen if any team is willing to part with that kind of draft capital.

Downs, on the other hand, is on an Indianapolis Colts team where nobody seems to be safe. The Colts have already dealt a couple of players in guard Quenton Nelson and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and there's a strong belief more are on the way out.
A third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Downs has recorded 228 catches for 2,470 yards and 12 touchdowns in his professional career.
Then there's Ridley, a three-time 1,000-yard wide receiver. However, he has struggled to make a true impact over the past couple of years with just 23 catches for 394 yards and zero touchdowns during the span.
The Tennessee Titans don't look like a team that will be in the playoffs, either, so it makes sense they could try to get something in return for the 31-year-old before his value drops even more.
