The Dallas Cowboys blew a 14-point fourth quarter lead at their home stadium on Sunday, falling to the visiting Arizona Cardinals and backup quarterback Gardner Minshew.
This late-game collapse for the Dallas defense saw Minshew complete 17 of his 23 pass attempts for 188 yards and three touchdowns, including a game-tying score with just seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Arizona kicker Chad Ryland missed the game-winning extra point, but the Cardinals were still able to pull out the comeback victory in overtime.

The Cowboys are off to a disappointing 3-5 start to their 2026 campaign. Sunday was an excellent opportunity to close the gap on the NFC East-leading New York Giants, but they were unable to capitalize despite entering the game as heavy favorites over the Cardinals.
