Two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson suffered a hamstring injury during the Baltimore Ravens' Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now 1-3, the Ravens could be without their starting quarterback for Week 5's matchup against the Houston Texans.
The latest update regarding Jackson's injury is not encouraging as he didn't take the field for Wednesday's practice session, according to multiple reporters on the scene.

"Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was not practicing Wednesday. Jackson left Sunday’s loss in Kansas City with a hamstring injury. If Jackson can’t play Sunday against the Texans, Baltimore is expected to turn to Cooper Rush, the former Cowboys backup," team insider Jamison Hensley of ESPN reported.

Jackson exited the game midway through the third quarter of Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Chiefs. He was replaced by Cooper Rush, who connected on 9 of his 13 pass attempts for 52 yards to close out the game.
"There was no way he was going to go back into the game," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said after the loss. "The injury precluded it. The way I know Lamar, if he could've gone in the game, he would've been in the game. That's how he is."

"Everybody kind of knows what his game is, and he can play that game and that game is part of what we do," Harbaugh continued. "If he's out there, it will be geared toward him. We've got a good group around him. We have a lot of playmakers around him if he's playing. Same thing for Tyler Huntley if he's playing."
A report from the Baltimore Sun recently indicated Jackson could miss 2-3 weeks with his hamstring injury. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport says the injury is more "week-to-week," and the superstar quarterback will try to play in Week 5.
Jackson's status will be updated throughout the week as the Ravens continue to prepare for Sunday's clash with the Texans.
