Kurt Warner took accountability for making an unfortunate mistake while calling Sunday morning's game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints in France.

The Steelers earned a 16-10 victory over the Saints behind 101 rushing yards from Jaylen Warren. He also took one of his three catches for 26 yards during the second quarter.

While reacting to the play on the NFL Network broadcast, Warner twice called the running back Tyler Warren. The former Super Bowl champion apologized for the blunder on social media, saying he got his wires crossed after recently watching the tight end play while covering the Indianapolis Colts.

"Yes, I called JAYLEN Warren 'Tyler' today after calling Colts game & referencing him in today’s game," Warner wrote. "My bad, so sorry ... It's [sic] stinks as an announcer when you do that & unfortunately it won’t be my last time bc sometimes u just react & misspeak!

"I own it… and JAYLEN was awesome today, so hopefully I gave him enough LOVE at other times!"

Warner wrote in a separate post that he'll "own it and move on" from the miscue.

Warner and NFL fans should know Jaylen Warren by now. He's followed a 1,291-yard campaign by recording 855 scrimmage yards through seven games.

Warren is averaging 5.5 yards per carry for the Steelers, who improved to 5-2 with a win at Stade de France. The 27-year-old is a huge reason why Pittsburgh remains tied atop the AFC North amid a three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Tyler Warren sat out the Colts' 16-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings due to a groin injury. Perhaps Warner wanted to make sure the second-year pro still received some love on National Tight Ends Day.
