The Buffalo Bills opened their training camp this week in Pittsford, New York, and quarterback Josh Allen is already singing the praises of his newest teammate, wide receiver DJ Moore.
"He's been awesome. He continues to again, just work hard, and the guys that we have in that wide receiver room right now, like they look to him. You know, we're the same draft class. So he's been in this league a long time, and there's not a new concept for him. He's run them all," Allen told CBS Sports at training camp.
"His body control. The way that he moves with the ball in his hand. It's a different element, you know? And it's a guy that can catch a slant and take it to the house, and that's exciting as a QB when you have someone like that," he said.

The Bills acquired Moore and a 2026 fifth-round draft pick this offseason in a trade with the Chicago Bears, sending back a 2026 second-round draft pick in exchange for the star receiver.

Last season, Moore finished with 682 yards and six touchdowns on 50 receptions with the Bears. Those came courtesy of rising star QB Caleb Williams and included some memorable moments during the Bears' run to the postseason.
He joins a Buffalo Bills team that's been constantly flirting with a run to the Super Bowl, but it's something Allen has yet to achieve. Last season, he led the team to the AFC Divisional Round, where they lost a heartbreaking game against the Denver Broncos, 33-30 in overtime.
That prompted the team to make improvements this offseason, including the acquisition of Moore, to give Allen another explosive receiver to throw to. Many people are expecting this combination to be the key to the Bills going further in the postseason than before.
Both Moore and Allen were selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, with Allen going seventh overall to the Bills and Moore 24th overall to the Carolina Panthers.
Allen threw for 3,668 yards and 25 touchdowns with 10 interceptions last season for Buffalo. Khalil Shakir was his top target, tallying 719 yards and four touchdowns on 72 receptions, but the Bills had plenty of additional weapons on the field for Allen to find, including tight ends Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid.
Pairing Moore with Allen could be a beautiful combination for the Bills as they look to achieve their goal of finally getting to the Super Bowl and vying for the Lombardi Trophy.
They're currently second overall at DraftKings Sportsbook with +1000 odds to win the big game, trailing only the Los Angeles Rams (+550), who made several significant upgrades this offseason, especially on defense.
