New York Jets star wide receiver Garrett Wilson has been creating a lot of chatter in the rumor mill as the NFL trade deadline rapidly approaches.

Now, an update on the Jets' asking price for Wilson has been revealed.

According to The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt, the Jets would likely expect at least two first-round picks and a starting-caliber player in any trade centering around Wilson.

Garrett Wilson #5 of the New York Jets.

...

With Wilson being a star wide receiver in his prime at 26 and signed through the 2030 season, it makes sense that the Jets would want a significant return for him in a potential trade. The Jets can be patient waiting for the right offer to come along, too, with Wilson locked up long-term.

Yet, contenders looking for help at the wide receiver position certainly could be willing to pay a high price to land Wilson. He would have the potential to be a game-changing addition for a playoff team, so he is a player to watch between now and the trade deadline.

In seven games this season with the Jets, Wilson has posted three touchdowns, 37 receptions, and 444 receiving yards. He has also posted over 1,000 receiving yards in three out of his four previous NFL seasons. With this, it makes sense that New York would want a lot for him in any potential move.
