New court documents claim that New York Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor allegedly tried to get sheriffs to evict his ex-girlfriend, model Draya Michele, from their formerly shared home in California several weeks ago. This new claim adds to an already contentious series of legal battles between the Super Bowl XLVII champion and Michele.

According to court filings dated November 26 found by The Daily Mail, Michele says she was on a business trip when she received a distressed phone call from her nanny, who was at her Chatsworth, California home. According to the nanny, law enforcement had arrived at the house and was attempting to lock her and Michele's children out of the home.

The filing states, "On 11/20/2024, Ms. Howard received an alarming phone call from her children's nanny while she was away on a business trip that the sheriffs were at the Subject Property to lock the occupants out of the Subject Property."

The property in question is part of Michele's ongoing lawsuit against the Jets QB. She alleges that Taylor purchased the home in August 2022 while they were dating and allowed her and her children to move in. According to the lawsuit, the two made a verbal agreement in which Taylor promised to sell her the property in the future.

The model claims that they agreed any financial contributions she made—such as improvements to the home or mortgage payments—would be credited toward the final purchase price if she decided to buy it. She later offered Taylor $2.8 million for the property, and when he countered with a price of $3.2 million in January 2024, she accepted.

She also asserts that she invested nearly $300,000 into the home, believing that this amount would be deducted from the agreed-upon purchase price. However, the model states that despite their verbal agreement, they never formalized the deal with a written contract, as they were still in a relationship at the time. She is suing him for breach of contract, along with other unspecified damages

Now, Michele claims Taylor is refusing to sell her the property and has threatened to evict her, with the sheriffs that arrived on November 20 being a surprising escalation of that threat.

Taylor was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2011 and backed up Joe Flacco before becoming the Buffalo Bills' starter in 2015. He led the Bills to their first playoff appearance in 17 years in 2017. He later played for the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, and Houston Texans, and signed a two-year deal with the Jets in March.
