On Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals needed overtime to defeat the Tennessee Titans, but a sideline outburst from star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase also drew attention.
At one point during the game, Chase was visibly frustrated on the sideline, throwing his helmet down as his team trailed the Titans. His team was down 13-0 after the first quarter and responded with two touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 14-13 lead into halftime.
Tennessee outscored Cincinnati 23-22 in the second half of regulation to force overtime. Ultimately, the Bengals prevailed, scoring a touchdown to win it 43-36. After the game, Chase was asked about his team's slow starts this season, but he deferred the question to his head coach, Zac Taylor.

"Yeah, I don't know. Ask Zac. It's not my job. Ask Zac," he told reporters.
When asked about Chase's emotional outburst on the sideline, Taylor had an intriguing response at his postgame media session.

"I trust him to do his job through all circumstances. He can be mad at me. He can be mad at whoever. I trust him to go out there and make plays, and so that doesn't change anything," Taylor said.
"I kind of like it, to be honest with you," the Bengals coach said, adding, "It's kind of something different to deal with, so it's kind of good. I like the competitiveness from our guys. They can be mad at me. We'll always work through that. Find a way to go win a game, move on. I'm glad we have him."
It was the second straight week in which Chase had reportedly displayed frustration over his team's performance. In his team's previous game against the Baltimore Ravens, the Bengals trailed 13-0 at halftime. Chase yelled at his teammates in a fiery locker room speech, which seemed to help wake everyone up for the second half.
The Bengals scored three unanswered touchdowns in the second half to win that game 35-13. They also rallied to win Sunday's game, with Chase delivering another impressive performance despite his earlier frustration.
He finished the game against Tennessee with 11 receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown. Teammate Tee Higgins racked up 155 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the win, which featured Cincinnati's Joe Burrow throwing for 462 passing yards and five touchdowns.
The Bengals improved to 5-2 and are contending for the AFC North with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who also won on Sunday. The two teams will collide in Week 10's "Sunday Night Football" game on Sunday, Nov. 15.
