Led by quarterback Geno Smith, the Seahawks enter Sunday atop the NFC West with a 6-5 record, winners of their last two games. Seattle just won a hugely important matchup against an NFC West rival, the Arizona Cardinals, last week, one that helped catapult it to the top of the division.

A setback against New York on the road on Sunday could spell trouble for Seattle's playoff hopes, so the Seahawks will need to avoid a letdown game against the 3-8 Jets.

How to Watch Seattle Seahawks at New York Jets:

Smith is having a poor season by his recent standards, entering Sunday with 12 touchdowns to 12 interceptions on the campaign, but he does have 3,035 passing yards and a 69.1 completion percentage along with an 88.5 quarterback rating, even despite his trouble limiting turnovers.

On the other hand, Jets starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers has slightly better numbers - a 63.4 completion percentage, 2,442 yards, 17 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and an 88.9 quarterback rating - but New York's overall season has been disastrous to the point that head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas have already been fired. What Rodgers' playing future might look like is anyone's guess, but his presence wasn't able to elevate the Jets this year in the way many thought it might.

Can Rodgers and Co. turn things around on Sunday and take down the Seahawks? Or will Seattle gain a firmer grasp on the top spot in the NFC West with another win? Find out on FOX at 1:00 p.m. ET.
