John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens recently parted ways, making the longtime NFL head coach one of the top options in the coaching carousel this offseason.

With the NFL playoffs set to begin with Wild Card weekend, there are more teams who could consider a coaching change in the near future. Among those playing this weekend, the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills stand out as the most likely playoff contenders who could consider making a coaching change based on how this weekend's games go.

Keeping that in mind, Harbaugh has reportedly decided to wait until next week to begin interviewing for coaching jobs. That leads many to believe that he is keeping his options open for playoff teams who are open to moving on from their current head coach.

Looking closer at the Packers, there have been rumblings late in the season that Matt LaFleur's job may not be safe. If Green Bay were to lose to the Chicago Bears in their Wild Card matchup, could the Packers be open to a change?

One NFL insider has connected Green Bay as a potential top target for Harbaugh as his mulls over his future.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio specifically mentioned both the Packers and Bills as potential options for Harbaugh.

“Regardless, the fact that Harbaugh’s agent initially said seven teams called, combined with the decision to wait until next week to interview for any of the vacancies, creates the inescapable impression that one or more of the teams playing this weekend could be contemplating a potential coaching change," Florio wrote. "And folks in the know are eyeballing Green Bay and Buffalo.”

LaFleur has done a nice job since becoming the head coach in Green Bay back in 2019. He has compiled a 76-40-1 record and has made the playoffs in six of his seven seasons. However, his playoff record is just 3-5 and the Packers are all-in on pursuing a championship.

Ed Policy will need to make a tough decision this offseason. Does he believe that LaFleur can lead Green Bay to a Super Bowl win? If he is not fully sold on that point, considering Harbaugh would be a wise decision.

Harbaugh is going to be surrounded by a ton of rumors and speculation in the coming days. Keep an eye on the Packers as a potential landing spot.
