The New York Giants notched a 27-21 win over the Houston Texans on the road in Week 7, despite some notable struggles from rookie kicker Dominic Zvada.
Zvada missed both of his field goal attempts, including a 44-yard attempt just before the halftime break at Reliant Stadium.
The Giants picked up Zvada as an undrafted rookie following the 2026 NFL Draft. He began his professional career 7-7 on field goal attempts, but has since missed five kicks.

Zvada's struggles began when he missed three field-goal attempts in a Week 5 tie with the division-rival Washington Commanders.
Despite these struggles, Giants head coach John Harbaugh is sticking with Zvada as the team's kicker moving forward. On Monday, Harbaugh said the team will not bring in any new kickers to try out for the job.
"We're not going to be doing that right now, no," Harbaugh told reporters.
“I think he has to go ahead and pound that thing through straight,” Harbaugh added. “I think he’s doing what a lot of rookies do — just trying to get it through the uprights. I’m not really worried about Zvada. He just has to do it, but I’m totally confident he will because I know how good he is and know what a good head he has.”

As they head into their Week 8 bye, the Giants are 4-2-1 to begin the 2026 NFL season.
