Now, the Eagles have received some huge news on the defensive tackle.
Per Ian Rapoport, Carter is expected to play on Sunday.

Getting Carter back will be huge for the Eagles' defense, especially given the Vikings' offense is formidable with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Mason, and more. A good way for Philadelphia to win the day is to make Carson Wentz uncomfortable, and a good pass rush can do that.
Stopping the run is also paramount and Carter can aid both of those defensive categories well. He has 13 total tackles through five games thus far in 2025.
The Eagles are looking for a bounce-back game after dropping the last two. The team came out hot to start the season, but lost two in a row to the Denver Broncos and New York Giants.
The good news is the Eagles are still in first place in the NFC East. A win against the Vikings would help the team correct its losing streak and put them even farther ahead in the divisional race.
