AT&T Stadium might have a retractable roof, but the stadium often stays closed due to inclement weather. The hope was that the roof was going to remain open for the first time in two years for the important Cowboys and Texans matchup, but that will not be the case.

The good news about this is that the massive hunk of metal that fell from the roof did not cause any sort of damage to anyone. However, safety reasons have led to the roof now being closed.

It will be interesting to see what the stadium does to fix the issue that caused the big piece of metal to fall from the roof, and if the stadium will receive any sort of repair work to prevent this from happening again.

AT&T Stadium will have to reassess the situation and determine if opening the roof will be safe again after such a scary situation. For now, it does appear that the planned game between the Texans and Cowboys will move ahead as planned.

The Cowboys are looking to rebound after the team dropped their last four games. Heading into Monday Night Football with a 3-6 record, Dallas needs a statement win tonight to inspire confidence.

With Prescott out, the Cowboys will rely on Cooper Rush to help lead the team to a much-needed win.
