The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers will see each other during their "Sunday Night Football" for the first time since former Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons was traded to Green Bay during the offseason.

The Cowboys will likely be without star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and 2025 first-round pick Tyler Booker on Sunday, since both are sidelined with injuries. That'll make the challenge rough for the team given the Packers currently have the No. 3-ranked defense in the NFL right now behind only the Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons.

That said, it should come as little surprise that the oddsmakers are heavily leaning towards the Packers for a win. The Week 4 predictions from NFL.com leave little hope for the Cowboys, but there's still a chance Dallas could surprise everyone on Sunday.

In the NFL.com piece, Dan Parr gives some hard truths about the Cowboys-Packers matchup, and he doesn't leave much question as to who he thinks will easily win this one.

"I don't think the Cowboys could have imagined their defense would be this bad when they traded Micah Parsons to Green Bay four weeks ago," he notes, adding that the Cowboys rank last in passing yards allowed, pass yards allowed per attempt and third-down conversion rate, and they're 27th in scoring defense and 30th in total yards allowed.

"In other words, Dallas is the new ideal opponent for a team looking to rebound, like Green Bay," Parr adds. "The Cowboys made Russell Wilson -- who was benched this week -- look like an All-Pro in Week 2 and then helped the Bears bounce back from a drubbing with a blowout victory in Week 3."

If the Packers can't pull off this win over the Cowboys, Parr says that "the bandwagon should start to veer off the road."

Parr also added that the Cowboys' mounting injuries make an already difficult challenge seem even more improbable.

"Winning without Micah is hard enough," Parr said. "Now Dak Prescott and Co. must make the attempt with prized offensive weapon CeeDee Lamb and 2025 first-round pick Tyler Booker sidelined."

For Parsons, according to ESPN, he's already clocked 14 quarterback pressures this season and is the leader in pass-rush wins with 17.
