Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens's availability for Sunday's game versus the Indianapolis Colts was up in the air all week as he was limited in practices with a hamstring injury.

The Cowboys didn't make his designation until 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday, giving fans some hope that he would be able to play. Unfortunately, though, Dallas ruled Pickens out for the game.

Pickens's last minute designation wasn't the only one the Cowboys announced on Sunday. Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and linebacker DeMarvion Overshown will also miss the contest because of injuries. All three of these players were able to compete just last weekend in the upsetting overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Injuries derailed their chances to play in Week 9, though.

Pickens has dealt with various injuries this season. He suffered a shoulder injury back on Oct. 8, but has played through it. The hamstring issue popped up in the past two weeks.

The receiver notably didn't see many passes thrown to him from quarterback Dak Prescott last weekend against the Cardinals. He caught just two passes of four attempts thrown to him for 48 yards. Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones emphasized this past week that Pickens's decrease of action was because of his health and injuries.

Regardless, Pickens left last Sunday's loss in a fury. He was seen walking into the locker room before the rest of his teammates left the field. It could've been injury-related, but he also could just be frustrated with his 3-5 team losing a game they should've easily won.

Through eight games, Pickens has caught 39-of-62 passes for 533 yards and two touchdowns. He sits as the second highest producing receiver on the Cowboys behind CeeDee Lamb (709 yards).
