Now, Daniels is questionable to return with an elbow injury.

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn was under fire when Daniels initially suffered the dislocated elbow. The team was trailing by a lot of points in the fourth quarter, which should have prompted Marcus Mariota to be put in the game.

Instead, Daniels remained in and was injured. Now, he has seemingly injured the same elbow after trying to stop a touchdown off an interception.

Daniels making a play on the turnover will be looked at and brought up plenty, as that was not the right call. He was already injured, and trying to make a tackle should have been advised against.

The hope for the Commanders is that the injury is not something that will keep him out again. The dislocated elbow kept Daniels sidelined for two games.

This has been a tough stretch for the Commanders and Daniels, as they battled all the way to the NFC Championship game in 2024. Now, the team is 3-9, and is currently trailing the Vikings 24-0.

A bad situation has gotten worse, as Daniels may have made his elbow worse.
