The Indianapolis Colts fired general manager Chris Ballard following the team's Week 6 loss to the Tennessee Titans, which dropped their record to 2-4 on the year.

This major front office move sparked conversation regarding the possible trade of several Colts players, most notably franchise running back Jonathan Taylor.

When speaking with reporters on Thursday, Taylor was asked about this trade speculation.

"I haven't given it any thought. That would be crazy right now, especially because we've got a great Minnesota Vikings that we have to go against," Taylor said. "I think it would be a discredit and a disservice to my teammates and this whole organization to think about what could, what should, what may be — it's what's happening right now.

"It's not going to get any easier. No one's going to feel sorry for us. Oh, our general manager is gone? No one's going to feel sorry for us," Taylor added. "We've got to pull ourselves up and we've got to go fight."

Taylor has been a rare bright spot for the Colts so far this season, rushing for 492 yards and seven touchdowns through the first six games of the year. He also has an additional 163 yards through the air on 15 catches.

Taylor signed a two-year, $44 million contract extension with the Colts this past summer.
